Mother's Day Crafts

For Mother's Day, I decided to have the kids paint flowerpots to give to each of the grandmas. I figured while they were at it, they could paint some for me too! It was a week-long project, but we are finally finished. Jacob and Ellie helped with each step of the process and they did awesome!

Painting Birdhouses

We used to have two birdhouses hanging from the garage in the backyard, but during a wind storm this past winter, we lost one of them. I found some new wood ones for the kids to paint at Big Lots, and they were so excited to work on them this evening. Here they are "in progress" and with the finished projects:

Crafty Kids, Pt. 1

Jacob got a lot of craft stuff for his 5th birthday. He and Ellie have been busy painting, molding, cutting, and gluing. Here are some pictures of their latest works of art:
