Home Group Trip to Young's Dairy

Our home group made our annual October trip to Young's Dairy tonight. We ate dinner followed by yummy ice cream, and then let the kids play outside and enjoy the warm weather.

Girls' Game Night

One Tuesday a month, the girls from our home group at church get together for a night out. This month we met to play games at Nicole's house. We munched on goodies and laughed until we cried...George and Laura Bush, anyone? (You had to be there!).

Cincinnati Zoo

Today we met my friend, Jen, and her kids, Ethan and Ella, at the zoo. When we planned this trip, we were afraid that it might be too cold for the kids, but as you can see from the pictures, it was so warm that we didn't even need coats. Our kids got along great and we had a really fun day riding the train and carousel and seeing all the animals.

Shed Floor

Nathan's parents got a new shed, so we are getting their old one. Nathan worked hard today getting the ground level and putting down the cement block. The job probably would have gone quicker, but Jacob and Ellie insisted on "helping".

Tooth Fairy, Are You For Real

Jacob lost his first tooth today. It's been loose for weeks, so he was excited that it finally fell out today. I told him to put it under his pillow so that the tooth fairy would bring him a treat, and he told me that Daddy and I are the tooth fairy. He is growing up too fast! Don't worry, he still found money under his pillow when he woke up in the morning.

SunWatch Indian Village

Today we went to SunWatch with Nathan's parents. The village was filled with people dressed as Indians and Dutch Settlers who talked about life in the 17th century. It was neat to see what life might have been like way back then.

Sophia turns 3!

Ellie's friend from church, Sophia, had her 3rd birthday party today. It was so nice out that they celebrated outside.
