Today was too nice to spend inside, so after we finished school for the day, we headed to Cox Arboretum with my Mom (with a side trip to McDonald's for lunch). I've been wanting to do a leaf project with the kids, so collecting them there was easy since they have the trees labeled for you. There was also a big wagon decorated for fall with pumpkins, straw, mums, and scarecrows. It made a nice backdrop for some fall pics. We had a great time together and were able to get lots of leaves to put in our books.
