Happy Mother's Day

Both sides of the family came over to our house to celebrate Mother's Day today. Katie and I always make great food and dessert to show our mom, Nathan's mom, and his grandma how special they are to us. After making up our menu, we realized that almost everything was a salad of some sort, so we playfully called today "A Salute to Salads (& our Moms!)". The food was yummy and we had a good time visiting with everyone.

Our Menu:
Ham or Chicken Salad Croissants, Cheddar Dill Scones, Fruit Salad, Tortellini Pasta Salad, Mexican Salad with tortilla chips, Greens with Mandarin Oranges and Toasted Almonds, and Homemade Croutons

Dessert:
Lemon Cupcakes with Lemon Buttercream Icing
Rocky Road Cupcakes with Caramel Icing
