First Trip of the Year to Young's Dairy

It was 60 degrees today, so we went to Young's Dairy with my parents. We ate dinner, enjoyed ice cream, and saw lots of animals. I was even able to enjoy my favorite cinnamon ice cream (which is only a winter flavor)! It was a fun time!

Trip to the Aquarium

Today we went to the Newport Aquarium with some friends from church. The kids had a great time seeing all the fish and other animals. Afterwards, we went to lunch at McDonald's where a very nice worker gave all the kids free ice cream.

Jacob's favorite part was when you went into a virtual cage to watch sharks. The floor moved and shook when the shark "attacked" the cage.

Colton is 5!

My nephew, Colton, turned 5 on the 19th, so we celebrated at his house today.

Today my baby turned 2! I cannot believe how fast Emmaline's first two years have gone by. We celebrated today with our families and had a great time.

Nathan's New Toy

Nathan has been wanting a mountain bike for awhile. We went to The Greene tonight to get Easter outfits for the kids and passed a bike shop on our way back to the car. They happened to be having a close-out sale on their '08 bikes, so Nathan got a very good deal on this bike. I'm excited too because now I'm not the only one who can haul the bike trailer!

The Girls' Room

The new bedding is on and pictures have been hung, so I thought I post some pictures of the finished product. Ellie and Emmaline love their new beds. They have lots of fun playing on them with Jacob and Emmy is doing a good job of staying in hers at night. Napping during the day is a different story. She loves to roam the room (there's a gate across the door so she can't escape), so we've resorted to letting her fall asleep on the floor. Oh well, she'll learn eventually!

Sunday School Game Night

Tonight at church, Jacob's Sunday school class hosted a Family Game Night. His teachers, Mr. Greg, Mrs. Nancy, and Mimi were there, as well as 4 other families. The kids had fun snacking and playing games together. The adults decided that we'd like to have another game night soon (minus the kids!).
