SURPRISE - Mom's 60th Birthday Party

Today, Katie and I successfully pulled off a surprise party for our Mom's 60th birthday. Her actual birthday isn't until November, so she was surprised to see friends and family at our house when she walked in the door (she thought she was just coming over for dinner). Lots of friends came to celebrate and those that couldn't make it sent cards and flowers. Katie and I had fun planning this occasion to honor Mom and her smile definitely made the hard work worth it.

Jacob made a sign for Mimi's party.
Mom hoped that the "Dumbo" picture wasn't implying anything.

(Jen - your mom will read this, right?)
Happy 60th, Linda! I'm so glad you had such a nice party, and what a special celebration for you! You look great! (I'm sure the Dumbo was meaningless) :) I hope I look as good when I'm 60!

Thanks for the role you've played in my life for the past 31 years. Your family and your home have a special place in my heart, and you are a tremendous role model as a faithful woman of God. Happy Birthday!
