Emmaline and Gabrielle are ready to go for a ride in the bike trailer.
Jacob and his new bike and helmet
(Yesterday, he wiped out using his coaster brakes on the hill by our house. He scraped his elbows up pretty bad, but he learned the benefit of wearing his helmet because it saved him from scraping his head too. To make him feel better, we bought him a new bike with a handbrake. Lucky kid!)
I went to check on Emmaline who was supposed to be napping in the tent.
She was happily looking out the window instead.
How many people does it take to set up the badminton net?
Ellie helps Papaw pound in the pegs.

Emmaline enjoys eating at the picnic table in the screenhouse.
We made a new dessert tonight, campfire banana splits. You take a banana in the peel and cut it in half length-wise almost all the way through. Top with chocolate chips, peanutbutter chips, and marshmallows. Close the banana, wrap in foil and place near the campfire until the chips melt. Unwrap the foil, open the banana, and top with cool whip.
Yummy!
