Carriage Hill Farm

Nathan's vacation is quickly drawing to a close with only two days left. I had ever intention of starting school again today, but we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and do something outside instead. We went to Carriage Hill Farm and had hoped to go across the bridge to explore what was on the other side of the farm. Alas, that didn't happen because of downed power lines from Sunday's windstorm, so we stuck to the side we knew best. The kids saw lots of baby animals, played in the schoolhouse, and hiked in the creek. We ended the trip with a stop at the Country Store for some penny candy and then met Nathan's mom at McDonald's for dinner on our way home.
