Jacob will be 5 next week. A few weeks back, my sister, Angel, wanted to know what she should get Jacob for his birthday. I asked Jacob what he wanted from Auntie Angel and he said that he wanted a big box he could make into a car. I told him to pick something she could actually go to the store and buy, so he came up with something else. Well, those gifts arrived in the mail this week. He won't be opening them until his party on Sunday, but guess what they arrived in? That's right...a big box that he could make into a car. Auntie Angel must have read his mind. He is having so much fun decorating the box and pretending to drive. He was even giving Emmaline lessons this morning as they sat in it together. It cracks me up how kids find pleasure in the most ordinary things!

Happy Belated B-Day Jacob..
